About the Africam Safari tour
Africam Safari is a vast 200-hectare zoo where more than 2,000 animals from 250 different species coexist.
The name Africam combines “Africa” and “Camacho,” the surname of its founder, Captain Carlos Camacho Espíritu, who opened this space on April 2, 1972. The park offers a safari-style visit: animals roam freely while you travel through the park in a vehicle.
We’ll pick you up at the meeting point you indicate within the city of Puebla; we’ll take you to Africam Safari and begin the guided visit, with opportunities to step out of the vehicle in some sections of the park. We may see zebras, antelopes, rhinos, elephants, giraffes, jaguars, hippos, crocodiles, chimpanzees, ostriches, ducks, llamas, macaws, buffalo, lions, snakes, bats, kangaroos, turtles, wolves and many more species—an authentic reconnection with nature. At the end, we’ll return to the starting point.
